Review: Titanfall 2

Developer/Publisher: Respawn/Electronic Arts

Platform: Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC

Rating: Mature (Blood and Gore, Language, Violence)

Reviewed on: Xbox One

When the Xbox One launched in 2014, Respawn Entertainment was tapped to create a launch title for the new system.  It was a decent game, not without its flaws, but I enjoyed what it offered.   With the arrival of Titanfall 2, I knew I needed to pick it up and review it.  How did it turn out?  Pretty good, actually!

Miracle Gears: The Aftermath

Wow, what a weekend.  From the beginning, we set out to basically do the impossible.  But you know what? We did it!

It's the Final Countdown! Miracle Gears is coming!

It's the calm before the storm, here at my house.  I'm getting as much cleaning done as I can, getting ready for the big setup tomorrow night.  Thus far, Miracle Gears has raised $270 as of the time of the writing.  That's awesome!  I can only hope that this is a sign of things to come.

Now, only one person has written in as to what we're going to do at the start of the drive.  We may get the decision based on one vote alone...

If you're going to donate before the drive starts, know that you can determine our fate when we begin on Friday.  Put "do the tutorial" or "don't do the tutorial" in the comment field of your donation.  The one that earns the most money decides our fate.  The clock is ticking...

And with that, I'm off.  I'll see you soon!

Review: Aliens Colonial Marines

Release Date: 02/12/2013 Rating: Mature (Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language)

Players: 1-2(Splitscreen co-op) 8 (online)

Platforms: PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U(release date to be announced)

Platform Reviewed on: Xbox 360

Now, I was a late comer to the Aliens franchise.  I admit it.  I used to hate scary movies.  Now that that's not the case, I love what Ridley Scott did in 1979, and James Cameron expounded upon 1986.  Those movies did more for science fiction than anything else out there.  I wish I could say the same about Aliens: Colonial Marines...

Review: The Conduit

Platform: Wii

Players: 1 (up to 8 online)

Rating: Teen (Blood, Mild Language, Violence)

Developer: High Voltage Software

Publisher: SEGA

Since this review is going live on July 4th, it's only fitting to do a "patriotic" game.  There's really not many examples of "modern" patriots in gaming.  Save, of course, for Michael Ford.
